The Clear Aligner Therapy Treatment Process
Consultation & Digital Imaging
During your initial consultation, your Louisville orthodontist will get to know you and your smile goals, and determine if clear aligner therapy is right for you. First, we’ll examine your oral health to check for gaps and crowding, and ensure your gums are healthy enough for treatment. We will then take 3D scans of your mouth to create a digital mockup to plan your treatment and even give you a sneak preview of what your smile will look like after your clear aligner therapy is finished.
Aligner Pick-Up
Once your initial set of aligners is ready, you'll visit our office to collect them and have your attachments placed. In most cases, patients are advised to wear their aligners for a minimum of 20-22 hours per day. Every week or two, you'll transition to the next set of aligners, replacing the current ones. Check-Ins

These retainers, while resembling your original Invisalign aligners, are specifically designed for long-term use, built to withstand greater pressure without losing their effectiveness.
